OUR STORY

WELV Consulting is an established bilingual training and consultancy organisation that works closely with national government, regional partnerships, local authorities and individual organisations. We have been influential in the development of policy and guidance and how to translate this into effective service delivery. We deliver learning and development activities, evaluate service provision, and develop future service models which help improve working practices and services and in turn improve the experiences of the people who receive the services.

As advocates of the Welsh Government’s Strategic Framework for the Welsh language in health and social care we understand the importance of both Welsh and English in delivering our services. We are one of the few training and consultancy organisations that are able to offer the option to deliver our services in either language.

VICKY ALLEN

Vicky is the managing director of WELV Consulting, which she founded in 2015 following a successful career in local authority social care, where she was Head of Children’s Services and Safeguard in her final role.
Making huge positive changes to the delivery of social care services, Vicky is passionate and committed to deliver, promote, and enhance working cultures and practice.

Vicky believes in all individuals in an organisation being able to recognise the role they play, and that they are acknowledged for the contribution they make. Vicky is motivated by providing people with the opportunity to continually reflect on what they do well (how and why) and, to support people to recognise where they want to develop and improve what they do.

When she’s not working, Vicky loves to exercise. At the weekend she likes getting out on long walks with her dog as often as she can.
